You should use a full spectrum fluorescent bulb, one
meter from the surface of the water, on a 12/12 or 14/10 light/dark cycle. In
addition, we have natural lighting in the room. While this may add to an
increase in the seasonal variation in the summer, we have the impression that,
overall, the egg quality improves with exposure to natural light.
